"Dana's enthusiasm is a refreshing change in a time
when all other teachers are trying to stretch out their methods to sell more
video. Dana has packed more than you can take in at one sitting in her videos.
She fills the gap between the novice rider and the professional. She has a
plain spoken approach with a consistent work ethic and a contagious smile. Her
message will open up a new approach for the novice and remind the season no
hours spent in the saddle will be wasted." -Dale

With
all the time, love and money we invest in our horses, the thought of
having to retire them early is heartbreaking. Over the last few years,
as I’ve interviewed many of the nation’s top trainers, one concept has
consistently surfaced. They want to produce “long term show horses.” I
remember seeing trail horses at the AQHA World Show that were over 20
years old. What an incredible gift, to have the skill, knowledge and
understanding to keep a horse going that long, and to keep him loving
his job. This tape will give you the tools you need to do just that.
Your horse will thank you for it. - Lynda Bloom Layne |

I
can't imagine any rider reaching an optimum level of effectiveness
without learning the techniques this tape presents. Watching how a
horse responds to right and wrong cues is an amazing way to learn, and
that's what this video offers. Raising ones level of awareness is
important in any sport, but in riding, it is doubly so because of the
messages sent to the horse. The information in this tape is, quite
simply, invaluable. - Lynda Bloom Layne |

One
of the keys to Dana’s program is teaching riders to understand why a
horse responds or resists. In this tape, Dana gives clear, concise
demonstrations, making it easy to see how to turn “wrong” into “right”
and produce a horse that responds like a Lexus, instead of a Model T.

"In my 50 years of owning
horses, I have never seen more comprehensive guidelines than those Dana covers
in Winning Strides, Part I. Those of us who had to learn "the hard way" wish
we could have had these wonderful basics presented to us when we first started
out. This tape should be required viewing for anyone shopping for a horse, for
new owners, and for more experienced horse people who need reminders on how to
successfully choose, maintain and communicate with a horse. Dana's gift for
teaching, her sincerity and her ability to explain techniques in detail make
this video a joy to watch."

"When I got my first horse
in the 1950s, I began teaching myself to ride without the benefit of
professional instruction. It was all trial and error...mostly
error. I'm sure my horse was thinking, "Give me a break!" How I wish Id have
had access to learning the important fundamentals that Dana presents in this
tape. Her sincerity, her upbeat "you can do it" attitude, and her detailed
presentation make this video a must see for beginning and intermediate riders.
Your horse will thank you."

"I've had the opportunity to preview just
about every new video that comes out. In my opinion, Winning Strides is one
of the best that I've seen. It covers an area that has been sorely neglected
and that is paying attention to the new comer. There are plenty of videos on
how to and training but, I've seen nothing until Dana's videos which helps
people to get started on the right track," said Jim Campbell, The Voice of the
Horseman's Radio Weekly.
